Solid or blinking purple: The base stations are having trouble seeing each other.

Try unplugging and replugging the base station if it never wakes from this mode. Vibrations can cause it to be stuck in this state. If it never changes from blue, check to make sure the base is mounted securely. I have a lot of experience in product development so i know this is not that complicated. So, what recourse do i have if pimax proves to be unable or unwilling to resolve the issue? Can’t i just return them to you for repair? I don’t think they are broken, the developer mode must be something that all of them have, so it should be possible to get them out of developer mode. I just set them up and while they do seem to track ok, The status light is white instead of green. I purchased 2 Steam index lighthouses.***PLEASE NOTE, THIS WILL RESET YOUR SETTINGS SUCH AS BACKGROUND IMAGE, PLAY AREA COLOUR AND CHAPERONE SETTINGS.When I contacted steam about the issue they did not indicate that there was any kind of fix for the units, here is a transcript of the exchange with them: Once you have deleted / renamed the file, just launch SteamVR, and the file should be created new. I chose to delete, and I also deleted the steamapps.vrmanifest file, but I don't think this makes a difference. Delete this file or change it to steamvr.vrsettingOLD or something. Go to your Steam > Config folder, and find the steamvr.vrsettings file. However, I did some fiddling myself, and have a solution that I haven't found written out anywhere else. I followed other advice of resinstalling SteamVR and changing to SteamVR Beta, but no luck.

I made no hardware changes and no driver changes. I had the issue where clicking on the desktop view button would just the panel invisible, but the keyboard and darkmode buttons would appear at the bottom as expected. Desktop View stopped working completely for no apparent reason. I've made an account just to share my fix for this issue.
